Shannon Thomas Smart established Pellonia Security Solutions. He has been part of the security industry since he was 16. Shannon started this family-owned business on the back of 30 years of experience in the security industry.

Managing Director
Shannon Thomas Smart
Shannon has 30 years of irreplaceable security industry experience. Shannon knew he could use his invaluable expertise to form a team that could safeguard countless individuals, homes, and businesses within the UK. It’s when he decided to establish Pellonia Security Solutions Ltd in 2022.
As a former British Army member who served for 13 years also completing 17 years in the private security sector, Shannon has the tactical, field, and industry experience to protect his clients. During this career Shannon has worked all over the globe, some of the main locations he worked were UK mainland, Europe, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Whilst working in the Middle East Shannon has provided premium security services to exceptionally high-profile clients. Some to mention but aren’t limited to were Gordon Brown whilst he was Prime Minister, Ross Kemp whilst he was in Afghanistan filming. During this period of his career Shannon had the privilege to work with the best security experts from around the world.
Today, Shannon has carefully curated a brilliant and resilient team of security professionals who help Pellonia Security Solutions provide the highest-quality security services to its clients. Shannon aspires to build this company into one of the UK’s leading security companies.

Susan manages all our daily accounts and enables us to fulfil our appointments timely. Pellonia relies on Susan to ensure we meet the highest service standards and keep our clients briefed every step of the way.

Katie is a breath of fresh air and brings a very positive energy to Pellonia Security Solutions. She plans and strategies annual sales goals working closely with the managing director to ensure business continuity.
